Taunus Thermal Bath & Spa Retreat - November 5, 2023
On November 5th, a select group of ladies gathered for a lavish retreat at the Taunus Thermal Bath & Spa. Departing from Ramstein-Miesenbach in luxury transportation, the day was set for unparalleled relaxation and pampering.
The journey began with the clinking of glasses as bottomless mimosas flowed, setting a jubilant tone. Upon arrival, the guests enjoyed all-day access to the spa's rejuvenating thermal waters and saunas, basking in tranquility.
The experience was peppered with delightful surprises—gifts and prizes that added a touch of excitement to the serene day.
As the evening drew near, the ladies returned, rejuvenated and carrying with them not just the physical tokens but a refreshed spirit and cherished memories.
This short escape was a testament to the magic of dedicated time for self-care. Until we meet again for the next serene adventure!
Black Forest Bath Oasis Spas, Titsee- January 21, 2024
Early in the morning, the ladies set off from Ramstein-Miesenbach for a special day trip. They were all excited to visit the Black Forest Bath Oasis Spas at Titsee, a beautiful spa in the middle of nature.
The ladies started their journey at 7 AM, we had unlimited mimosas. These are bubbly, fruity drinks that made our ride super fun. We looked out at the pretty trees and hills of the Black Forest while chatting and sipping our drinks. We also had special breakfast boxes, courtesy of a partnered company, Plattered Perfection. These boxes had all sorts of good food in them. It was a great way to start our day with something good to eat.
When the ladies got to the spa, it was really peaceful and pretty. It was surrounded by trees and clear water. Just being there made them feel calm and happy. The best part of the day was the spa treatments. The ladies all got massages that were super relaxing. The masseuses were really good, and everyone felt great afterward.
They also enjoyed the spa's other features, like saunas and hot springs. Everything was very relaxing, and being in nature made it even better. This trip was also special because the ladies got to spend time together. They talked, laughed, and enjoyed the peaceful spa. It was a great way to make their friendships stronger.
At the end of the day, the ladies drove back to Ramstein-Miesenbach. They talked about how much fun they had and how they were thankful for the day.
Their trip to the Black Forest Bath Oasis Spas was a great day of relaxation and fun with friends. The ladies all felt refreshed and happy after spending a day in such a beautiful place.
Our Adventure to Macau and Hong Kong
Late January this year, we decided to escape our usual surroundings and dive into the vibrant cultures of Macau and Hong Kong. Our first destination was Macau, a place known for its towering skyscrapers and dazzling casinos. From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the grandeur that surrounded us.
Macau is a city that never sleeps, filled with lights and the excitement of people trying their luck at the games. But what surprised us the most was the generosity of the casinos when it came to food. Everywhere we went, we were greeted with an array of complimentary dishes, each more delicious than the last. This was a food lover's paradise, and we made sure to try as many Chinese delicacies as we could. The emphasis on fresh vegetables and aromatic teas was a delightful change from our usual diet, offering both warmth and nourishment against the chilly winter air.
After soaking in the sights and sounds of Macau, we set off for Hong Kong, eager to discover what this famous city had in store for us. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly Disneyland. Walking through the gates of Disneyland was like stepping into a childhood dream. It was a surreal experience to see the characters and stories I had grown up with come to life before my eyes.
We spent the day riding roller coasters, watching shows, and marveling at the magical world around us. Each ride brought its own thrill, from the gentle sway of the carousel to the heart-stopping drops of the roller coasters. But the true highlight came at the end of the day with the fireworks display. As the sky erupted in colors, I was overwhelmed with emotion, reminiscing about my childhood dreams and the joy those stories brought me.
Our trip to Macau and Hong Kong was an unforgettable experience. It was a journey filled with discovery, from the awe-inspiring architecture and endless entertainment in Macau to the magical moments in Hong Kong Disneyland that touched our hearts.
This trip was more than just a vacation; it was a chance to step out of our comfort zone, experience new cultures, and create memories that will last a lifetime. It reminded us of the beauty of exploration and the endless wonders that await when we embrace the unknown. As we look back on our adventure, we are filled with gratitude for the moments we shared and the experiences that brought us closer together. Our journey to Macau and Hong Kong will forever hold a special place in our hearts, a testament to the power of travel and the magic of dreaming big.
My First Year of Adventure Across Seven Countries
When I was a little girl, I always dreamed of traveling the world and exploring new places. Though, I’m still surprised by just how much of the world I’d get to see. Less than a year ago, I stepped out on faith and moved to Germany and have been traveling ever since. Within my first 10 months, I’ve been fortunate enough to spend time in 7 countries and so many cities I’ve lost count. A few of my favorite adventures involved:

A sunset drive in a hotrod go-kart touring the sites in Berlin. I toured the city via bus and on foot, but driving around the city in a go-kart was a unique experience. I highly recommend it!
Taking a moment to stop and smell the tulips at Keukenhof Garden in Holland. Keukenhof Garden is one of the most beautiful places I’ve been; pictures simply don’t do it justice. I went in April, just as the flowers were beginning to bloom. The weather was a bit chilly, but the bright colors and the intoxicating smell of fresh flowers was enough to make me forget. Oh, and don’t forget to pick up tulip bulbs. You can bring them back to the US.
Seeing the Manneken-Pis in one of his many costume changes in Brussels. One of the many ways Belgians celebrate World Bike Day is by dressing up Manneken-Pis in a cyclist outfit. There’s also a small museum you can go to if you’d like to see other outfits he’s worn in the past.
Riding the dunes in the Sahara Desert (via camel and an ATV) and sipping tea in Merzouga. If you’re an avid tea drinker like me, you absolutely must try authentic Moroccan tea. There are many ways Moroccans prepare tea. Each group of people have their own ingredients and flavors. I prefer mine prepared with fresh mint leaves, an herb called flio, and just a touch of menthol.
Exploring the Caves of Drach in Mallorca… I even got to attend a brief concert there. The candle lights reflecting on the water and the acoustics of the cave really made it a magical experience. Cameras weren’t allowed during the concert (which I was thankful for) because it allows you to truly be present and enjoy the moment while it lasts.
Fun trip to Caracalla Spa in Baden-Baden- February 17, 2024
On February 17, 2024, a bunch of us ladies went on a super fun trip to Caracalla Spa in Baden-Baden. It was a special day just for us to hang out, relax, and enjoy some pampering. We had everything planned out for us, from the ride to the spa, yummy drinks, to a whole day of chilling in the spa. Plus, there were extra treats like massages if we wanted to book them.
Our adventure started bright and early at 7:00 AM. We all met up in Ramstein-Miesenbach and hopped on a bus that was waiting to take us to Baden-Baden. The bus ride was a blast – we had endless mimosas, which means we got to sip on bubbly drinks the whole way there. It was a great start, and everyone was super excited about the day ahead.
When we got to Caracalla Spa, it was like stepping into a whole new world. This place is famous for its beautiful baths and relaxing vibes. We had the whole day to explore everything. There were hot pools, cool pools, and steam rooms – something for everyone. And the best part? We could go wherever we wanted and do whatever we felt like. It was all about taking it easy and having a great time with friends.
The trip was extra special because of all the little surprises along the way. Besides the fun ride and the spa, we got gifts and could win prizes, which made the day even more exciting. And for those of us who wanted a little extra pampering, we could book a massage or other treatments. It was all about making us feel spoiled and happy.
After a whole day of relaxing and having fun, it was time to head back. We left Baden-Baden at 4:30 PM, feeling super relaxed and happy. The ride back was the perfect time to chill and talk about our favorite parts of the day.
This Galentine's Day spa trip was an amazing way to celebrate friendship and take a break from our busy lives. It was a day filled with laughter, relaxation, and lots of pampering – exactly what we all needed!
Train Trip Kaiserslautern to Mainz- February 24, 2024
On a bright Saturday morning, February 24, 2024, at 9:30 AM, a group of us met up at a cozy coffee shop inside the Kaiserslautern train station. This coffee shop was right by the South Entrance, close to where cars park. We were all there for a special trip to Mainz, and we were excited to start our adventure.
We planned this trip not just to see new places but to learn something cool on the way. A language instructor was coming with us to help us learn while we traveled. We all made sure to get our train tickets early so we wouldn't have to rush at the last minute.
At 9:30 sharp, after everyone had a warm drink and got to know each other a bit, we started our journey. The train ride from Kaiserslautern to Mainz is known for its beautiful views. As the train moved, our instructor shared fun facts and taught us some new words and phrases. It was a great way to learn because we could look out the window and see the things we were talking about.
In Mainz, we visited some amazing places. Our instructor pointed out historical buildings and told us stories about them, making the history come alive. We practiced asking for directions, ordering food, and chatting with locals in the new language we were learning. It felt good to use what we learned right away.
By the time we got back to Kaiserslautern, we all felt a little more connected—to the places we visited, the new words we learned, and the people we met. This trip was more than just a train ride; it was a journey of discovery and learning.
We're already looking forward to our next adventure. Who knows where we'll go or what new things we'll learn? But one thing's for sure: it's going to be a lot of fun.
Women's Trifecta Trip to Therme Euskirchen- April 14, 2024
On April 14, 2024, the ladies from Ramstein andWiesbaden, went on a special bus trip to Therme Euskirchen. This was a planned spa day where everyone looked forward to relaxing and having fun together.
The trip started early at 8:00 AM. The ladies gathered at the meeting points with their swim gear and robes. To make the ride enjoyable, they were served unlimited mimosas on the bus. This made everyone excited for the day ahead.
They arrived at Therme Euskirchen around 10:00 AM. The spa had been told to expect a big group, so entry was quick. The spa is known for its big pools, saunas, and places to sit back and relax.
The ladies enjoyed everything the spa had to offer. Those who booked massages were helped to get to their appointments on time. Everyone else soaked in the pools, relaxed in the saunas, and enjoyed chatting with each other.
After a full day of relaxing, the group left the spa at 4:30 PM. On the bus back, the ladies talked about their favorite parts of the day and how refreshed they felt.
The trip to Therme Euskirchen was a great break from daily life. It was a day for making friends, laughing, and relaxing. Everyone went home happy and already thinking about the next trip.
This spa day was a wonderful way for the women to spend time together and enjoy a day of peace and fun.
